The February Rising Star is Dietary Aide Michael C. Michael started here at O’Neill Healthcare Bay Village in November 2023. He previously worked in dietary at another facility since 2009.
Michael works primarily in the Memory Support Unit and has made a huge effort since he started to get to know all the residents, where they sit in the dining room, and their preferences. It is clear he cares about the residents and does his best to give them an excellent dining experience!
Michael is from Barbados and came to the U.S. in 2003. He has been married 20 years and has 2 daughters and 1 grandchild. Outside of work he loves building and repairing computers, which he taught himself to do. He also loves watching sports, especially Formula 1 racing and cricket! He said some people think cricket is long and boring – a professional match can last 5 days! – but he has enjoyed it since he was in school.
Thank you, Michael for all you do. Keep up the great work! ... See MoreSee Less
