🚢 ✨This week, we set sail on a magical Disney Cruise Week to show our incredible STNAs and PCAs just how much they mean to us! Fun aside, aide work is not easy. It takes an immense amount of heart, hard work, and dedication to care for those who cannot care for themselves, and to support the families who entrust us with their loved ones. We wanted to make sure they felt the love all week long!
Here is a look back at our unforgettable itinerary:
Day 1: Sail Away Party! 🌊 We kicked things off with a "Build Your Own Omelet" breakfast, followed by an afternoon Sail Away party featuring Mickey-shaped sandwiches, chopped salad, fruit, and chips. A perfect Mickey & Minnie themed day!
Day 2: Pixar Day at Sea 🤠🚀 The building was buzzing with Woody, Jessie, and Buzz! We hosted a Wilderness Scavenger Hunt with 3 lucky winners and treated everyone to a "Sweet on You" dessert bar filled with Mickey-shaped waffles, cookies, donuts, and sugar-free options.
Day 3: Lilo & Stitch Hawaiian Day 🌺 Our amazing dietary team knocked it out of the park! Staff enjoyed Hawaiian-inspired pizzas, while our residents loved the Hawaiian meatballs on Hawaiian rolls, chips, and pineapple upside-down cake—complete with a special appearance by Lilo and Stitch!
Day 4: Marvel Day at Sea ⚡🍦 We fueled up our heroes with a "Thor-sized" baked potato bar and ended the day with some Avenger-inspired ice cream.
Day 5: Beauty and the Beast 🌹🍔 Our final stop landed us at "Gaston’s Man’s Man Cookout"! We enjoyed burgers, hot dogs, brats, pretzels, coleslaw, and sugar cookies, along with a magical visit from Belle herself.
To our phenomenal STNAs and PCAs: Thank you for the irreplaceable care you provide to our residents every single day. You are the true heroes of our ship! ⚓️❤️

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a Lunch & Learn focused on stroke awareness, prevention, and recovery.
Thank you to Dave and Veronica from Cleveland Clinic's Stroke Community Outreach Program, Jen Harkness, Director of Network Services at O'Neill Healthcare, and Richard O'Neill, LNHA for sharing their expertise with our guests. Attendees learned how to recognize the signs of a stroke using the BE FAST acronym, explored stroke risk factors and prevention strategies, and gained insight into the recovery journey after a stroke. We also discussed how physical, occupational, and speech therapy work together to support recovery and improve quality of life.
Richard highlighted how O'Neill Healthcare's continuum of care and collaborative approach help support both stroke prevention and recovery across all levels of care.
A special thank you to our kitchen staff for preparing a wonderful lunch for everyone in attendance.
Stay tuned to our website's Events page for more details on a similar event next month!
