Catherine R.
Catherine was selected as our resident of the month because of her kindness. She will help others with anything including how to play bingo or how to make a craft. Catherine has the kindest things to say about others including about employees or other residents. Catherine was born and raised in Hawkrun, PA. She later moved to Cleveland after she met and married her husband, John. They were married for 56 years. They have four children (3 sons and 1 daughter), seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Catherine worked for many years as a secretary at NASA. She got to travel to California and help fix the rocket hoses. She enjoys eating stuffed cabbage, drinking apricot brandy and crocheting. Catherine‘s favorite things about living here are her friends and the employees. She loves the weekly happy hours and monthly outings. Thank you for being a part of our family, Catherine! 72 guests came down to our pizza party at O'Neillstock's final day! That's a record! Music, pizza, giant balloons tossed in the air and just being together in unity was what this week was all about! Not to mention a special apperance from JMY T Hendrix! Way to go activity assistants for their, as always, teamwork and fun loving selves this week!
Shoutout to our aids!! We couldn't have our amazing turnouts without their help! Everyday, they got our residents dressed in the color of the day and the residents were so happy and appreciative to be part of the week's festivities. Our last day of National Nursing Home Week was a blast! Everywhere you looked was a colorful explosion of tie dye! ☮️🌈 As we wrap up this groovy week, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to our amazing staff who care for our residents day in and day out.
